Rest & Reconnect
A Nervous System Reset
18th of January 2026 at Boco Yoga & Pilates
Rest and Reconnect: A Nervous System Reset is a mini-retreat dedicated to guiding you out of stress and into deep peace. We begin with restorative Deep Yin postures and the effortless stillness of Yoga Nidra, both fully immersed in the therapeutic, resonant frequencies of Sound Healing to facilitate profound physical and mental release. We will conclude with calming, conscious Pranayama (breathwork) to anchor your relaxed state, helping you integrate the benefits and leave feeling fully grounded, refreshed, and completely recalibrated. This is your dedicated time to pause and return to center.
Potential Event Structure
Welcome & Setting the Tone | 5-10 min | Arrive, settle, brief introduction to the theme (“Rest and Reconnect”), and explanation of the components. |
Deep Yin & Sound Immersion | 30-40 min | Gentle, passive postures held for longer durations. The sound healing begins to play immediately, encouraging deep tissue release and guiding the body toward the rest-and-digest state. |
Transition | 5 min | Gentle movement/stretch to prepare the body for stillness. Settle in for Nidra (add extra blankets). |
Yoga Nidra & Deep Yogic Sleep | 30-45 min | Guided meditation into the state of conscious, effortless relaxation. The sound healing continues, supporting the profound quieting of the mind. |
Integration & Pranayama | 10-15 min | Slowly awaken from Nidra. Close with seated, conscious Pranayama techniques to seal the practice and ground the nervous system. |
Closing | 5 min | Final words, sharing (optional), and gentle transition back to the day. |
Total Event Time is Approx. 90 min – 2 hours |
